PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum interference device and an atomic oscillator that locally heat surfaces of a gas cell transparent to excitation light while keeping a small size and a low cost, and provide a highly reliable electronic apparatus and mobile body having such an atomic oscillator.SOLUTION: An atomic oscillator 1 includes: a gas cell 21 having an internal space S filled with metal atoms; a light emission section 22 for emitting excitation light for exciting the metal atoms in the gas cell 21; a light detection section 24 for detecting the excitation light transmitted through the gas cell 21; and a pair of coils 251, 252 arranged in a direction along the axis of the excitation light with the internal space S of the gas cell 21 in between to generate a magnetic field in the internal space S in the direction along the axis of the excitation light and heat the gas cell 21. |
