<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack bush for a rack pinion type steering device which is made of a synthetic resin and used in fitting a rack shaft to a rack housing under a large load and suppresses deformation of the protrusion tip of a serration arranged on an outer peripheral surface even when the temperature rises to 120°C.SOLUTION: A rack bush is composed of a resin composition comprising one of polyacetal, polybutylene terephthalate, polyamide resins and polyphenylene sulfide added with 10-40 mass% of a fibrous reinforcing material. A roundness (R) of a radius of 0.3-1.0 mm is formed at the protrusion tip of a serration 15 of the rack bush.</p> |
