Provided is a PLC unit (50) in which a control unit (2) is retained in a base (1). The base comprises: a foundation part (3), further comprising an opposing face (3a) which opposes a lateral face (2a) of the control unit; a retaining part (4) which is formed to extend from one end side of the foundation part to the control unit side; an engaging part (6) which is formed to extend from the other end side of the foundation part to the control unit side; and a standing part (5) which is formed to protrude from the retaining part to the engaging part side. Upon the control unit are formed: an insertion part (12) which is inserted between the standing part and the foundation part, and which makes contact with the standing part and thereby restricts movement of the control unit in a direction separating from the foundation part; and a part for engaging (10) which is engaged with the engaging part and which restricts movement of the control unit in a direction separating from the foundation part. In a state of the control unit being retained by the base, an impeller part (11), which impels in the direction of separating the base and the control unit, is formed upon the opposing face of the foundation part and/or the one lateral face of the control unit.
