摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium purifier which can be configured so as to prevent local blockage to a mesh inlet part and simplify long-term utilization of a cold trap.SOLUTION: In order to solve the above-described problem, an inventive sodium purifier includes: a liquid metal sodium inlet part; an impurity capturing part consisting of a cooling part for cooling liquid metal sodium flowing from the liquid metal sodium inlet part by exchanging heat between the liquid metal sodium and a coolant introduced from a coolant introduction port, and a mesh part for capturing impurities in the liquid metal sodium; and a liquid metal sodium outlet part from which the liquid metal sodium without the impurities flows out, the impurities having been removed therefrom. The impurity capturing part is equipped with a cooling device which cools the liquid metal sodium by applying a temperature gradient with temperature lowering from the liquid metal sodium inlet part toward the liquid metal sodium outlet part, and which controls the temperature gradient.</p>
