The condensation curve (18) of the fluid is inclined in the direction of increasing entropy at least in a major area of its path in the T-s-diagram (temperature-entropy). Said heat pump (12) comprises at least one heat guiding device (22) which can heat the fluid in the flow direction thereof (11) downstream of the evaporation device (10) and upstream of the compression device (7). The invention also relates to a method for operating a heat pump (12).
