<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining related programs having relationship with a first program among programs installed in a memory of an electronic device and for displaying the determined related programs on a display unit, when the first program is executed. A method for operating an electronic device includes executing a first program, determining at least two related programs having relationship with the first program, and displaying the at least two related programs in a reference area, a notification bar, or a popup window on a display unit where the first program is being executed. In addition, the method further includes displaying a related program in response to the detection of a reference operation when the electronic device is in a state that the first program is executed and a second program is ready to run.</p> |
