PURPOSE: An electrode material for a lithium secondary battery improves charging efficiency and prevents damage on an electrode structure due to overcharging. CONSTITUTION: An electrode material (7) has a core material (C) in the center and a silicon layer (S) formed on the outer surface of the core material, and carbon nanotubes layer (9) is formed on the outer surface of the core material. The core material is formed of a conductive material. An electrode structure is that a plurality of the electrode materials are aligned left and right and up and down and laminated in a multilayered structure. A lithium secondary battery includes a negative electrode using the electrode structure, an electrolyte, and a positive electrode and uses the oxidation of lithium and reduction of lithium ion. |
