<p>A water treatment process treats source water to produce treated water. In the process, the water treatment process generates drain water. The present invention provides a drain water recovery apparatus, which treats drain water in the water treatment process to recover the drain water. The present invention provides an improved water treatment system, which includes an improved drain water recovery apparatus capable of increasing the total recovery (= volume of treated water production / volume of source water supply) of the water treatment process, for example, to about 99-99.975%. The water treatment system provided in the present invention comprises a water treatment apparatus which produces first treated water with the received source water, and discharges first drain water; and the drain water recovery apparatus, wherein the drain water recovery apparatus comprises a second membrane separation tub which produces second treated water with the received first drain water, and discharges second drain water; and a third membrane separation tub which produces third treated water with the received second drain water, and discharges third drain water. The second treated water is combined to the first treated water, and the third treated water is supplied to the water treatment apparatus as source water.</p> |
