PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing apparatus which can enhance a sterilizing effect by ejecting and mixing an aqueous solution containing dissolved sterilizing tablets into water to be purified and treated passing through the narrow part of an orifice, where the aqueous solution is much more optimized compared to a conventional sterilizing apparatus. SOLUTION: The sterilizing apparatus is provided with a water passage pipe 3 equipped with a container 4 for sterilizer tablets and an orifice 2. The inlet side of the orifice 2 is connected to a flowing-in opening of the container 4 through a check valve 1. To the narrow part 2a of the orifice 2, a suction pipe 7 for spraying, equipped with a check valve 3 is connected. The suction pipe 7 is connected to the flowing-out opening of the container 4 through T shaped joint 6 and a needle valve 5.
