The gear has an axle body (2) connected with a mounting portion (4) that is provided with a suspension arm (5). An end of the suspension arm is supported over a pneumatic spring (6) against a vehicle frame (1). The axle body is provided with two supporting surfaces (11, 33) in the mounting portion. The supporting surfaces are formed against the suspension arm, and cause deformation of a round pipe wall. Outer diameter of the axle body is smaller than that of pipe longitudinal portions. Scope segments are arranged on the supporting surfaces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an axle body (2) a method for manufacturing a mounting portion. |
