PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition suitably usable for a printer, a bookbinder, a paper converter, peripherals accompanied by these and the like, eliminating the need for the cleaning of a sliding part after the application, and capable of lubricating the sliding part without being scattered. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition is prepared by: dispersing a lubricant in a second dispersion solvent comprising a hydrocarbon-based organic solvent and a lower alcohol; and making the resultant dispersion into an aerosol, wherein the lubricant is obtained by dispersing an oiliness improver and diamond particle clusters which are aggregates of diamond particles having about 5 nm average particle diameter covered with amorphous carbon and which have about 15 nm average particle diameter, in a first dispersion solvent comprising a fatty acid ester, an organic sulfur compound and phosphate.
