PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cellulose loose ultrafine fibers having a soft feeling, high hygroscopicity, and high bulkiness with little formation of neps during carding. SOLUTION: The cellulose loose ultrafine fibers are loose fibers containing a cellulose ultrafine fiber as a constituent fiber. In the cellulose loose ultrafine fibers, the fineness of the cellulose ultrafine fiber is 0.1-0.8 dtex; the fiber length thereof is 20-200 mm; and the number of formed neps in the loose fiber is not more than 100 neps/g.
