The device has a blower (12) for introducing an energy carrier-air-mixture in a burner (2). A mass flow sensor (14) is arranged for the energy carrier-air-mixture in a guide path for the to-be added air or for the energy carrier-air-mixture. The mass flow sensor is directly interconnected with a regulator impinging the blower. The guide path is formed by a connection (13).
