The present invention allows a ring portion for hang a button on clothing not to protrude outwardly from a button body. Accordingly, the present invention allows a button to be attached to clothing without sagging from the clothing to prevent sagging of the button, thereby further increasing a decorative effect when creating the style of clothing and the like. In addition, the present invention forms the edge of a hole in the ring portion into a round shape. Therefore, a thread is not allowed to touch the edge of the hole and be broken even if the button is repeatedly fastened and unfastened, thereby enhancing the durability of the button. In regards to a mold for the manufacture of a button by a die-casting method, wherein the button comprises a body of a hollow container shape and a ring portion integrally formed in the body to insert a thread into the button, a mold for the manufacture of a button according to the present invention comprises: a first mold having a space portion on one side thereof in order to form the appearance of the body; and a second mold which has a protruding portion at a position facing the space portion in order to form the inner side of the body, wherein a sliding hole which becomes narrow inwardly is formed in the protruding portion and a pair of movable cores are formed in the sliding hole in order to form the ring portion not to protrude outwardly from the body. The pair of movable cores have concave groove portions on both combined sides facing each other in order to form the shape of the ring portion, and hole protrusions are formed to face each other in the concave groove portions in order to form a hole into which a thread is inserted. |
