PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processor capable of stably and smoothly moving a print head in the widthwise direction of an information recording medium. SOLUTION: The medium processor includes: a medium conveying path 11 along which a traffic ticket is conveyed; a print unit 167 with a print head 5 provided to print on the traffic ticket; a print unit driving section 147 for driving the print unit 167 in the widthwise direction of the traffic ticket; guide shafts 169 and 170 for guiding the print unit 167 in the widthwise direction of the traffic ticket; and a fixing frame 134 to which both ends of the guide shafts 169 and 170 are fixed. The guide shaft 169 serves as a reference shaft whose fixed position relative to the fixing frame 134 is fixed whereas the guide shaft 170 serves as a sub-shaft whose fixed position relative to the fixed frame 134 is adjustable.
