<p>Surge protection device (10) comprising: a surge limiter component (11), connectable to an electrical system; a contact breaker (12), comprising a changeover contact (13) arranged to connect the surge limiter component (11) to a power line in a first position (NC), said contact breaker (12) further comprising activating means configured to activate the changeover contact (13) in case of fault of the surge limiter component (11); the surge protection device (10) further comprising a power supply (20) connectable to said changeover contact (13) and signaling means (15) connected to said power supply (20), wherein said changeover contact (13), when activated by said activating means, is arranged to disconnect said surge limiter component (11) from the power line and to connect the power supply (20) to the power line in a second position (NO).</p> |
