The present invention relates to a system and a method for improving receiving performance of a high-pass terminal which can receive a signal output from a roadside base station, measure the intensity of the received signal, and restrain the received signal from being output to a baseband processing unit or compensate for the intensity of the received signal when the intensity of the received signal is lower than the intensity of a reference received signal. The present invention provides a system for improving receiving performance of a high-pass terminal which comprises a signal receiving unit to receive a signal output from a roadside base station, to convert the received signal into a signal form capable of being processed in a high-pass terminal, and to output the converted received signal; a received signal intensity measuring unit to output the converted received signal while receiving the converted received signal, measuring the intensity of the converted received signal, and outputting the intensity of the received signal; a setting unit to receive the intensity of the received signal, to compare the received intensity of the received signal with the stored intensity of the reference received signal, and to output a reference for determining whether to output the converted received signal or not; and a demodulation unit to generate a demodulated received signal by receiving the converted received signal output from the received signal intensity measuring unit and demodulating the converted received signal, to receive the reference output from the setting unit, and to output the demodulated received signal according to the received reference. |
