<p>The invention is a device for the application of inserts (76) comprising a preferably rotating tool (28, 128) suitable for interacting during use with an insert (76) to be applied by means of the device (1, 101), a cylinder (5, 105) having a front end (10, 110) and a rear end (15, 115), at least one operating piston (25, 125) sliding inside the cylinder (5, 105) between a position that is nearest to and a position that is farthest from the front end (10, 110) in order to move the tool (28, 128) from and towards the front end (10, 110) of the cylinder (5, 105), at least one positioning piston (20, 120) suited to interact with the operating piston (25, 125) in order to place the operating piston (25, 125) in an intermediate position between the nearest and the farthest position. The positioning piston and the operating piston (20, 120, 25, 125) interact with each other so that whichever of the two pistons (25, 125) is nearest the rear end (15, 115) of the cylinder (5, 105) can move the other piston (20, 120) towards the rear end (15, 115) of the cylinder (5, 105).</p> |
