PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for causing coins being carried separately one by one to drop into a rejected coin carriage port or a normal coin carriage port without fail. SOLUTION: In a coin handling device comprising a carriage rotating disk 17, a carriage guide bottom face 16, and coin discriminating sensors 25a, 25b and 25c that discriminate coins; a rejected coin carriage port 26 and a normal coin carriage port 27 downstream of the rejected coin carriage port 26 in the carrying direction of coins are formed in the carriage guide bottom face 16, guide faces 30a and 30b configured to be able to slidably move in an orthogonal direction to the carrying direction of coins are disposed above the rejected coin carriage port 26 and, when coins determined to be rejectable coins are carried, the rejectable coins are caused to drop into the rejected coin carrying port 26 by setting aside the guide faces 30a and 30b from above the rejected coin carriage port 26.
