A system and a method for compensating an optical path are disclosed. The optical path compensating system includes a measurement unit for optical path change, measuring an amount of change in the optical path when the optical path of an incident light changes due to shivering of a camera; and a curved prism driving unit for driving a curved prism composed of a refractive surface based on the optical path compensation amount determined by the amount of change in the optical path.
