The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for treating dye wastewater using dried coffee remnants, the method comprising: a step of washing remnants for 3 to 6 times after liquid of brewed coffee is extracted by using distilled water; a step of drying the washed coffee remnants at an oven of 60 to 80°C for 10 to 30 hours; and a step of adding the dried coffee remnants to the dye wastewater. So, by adsorbing dye of the dye wastewater, the dye wastewater can be treated.
