The present invention relates to a voltage detecting apparatus and a battery management system including the same. The voltage detecting apparatus is connected to a plurality of battery cells connected in series and measures a voltage of each of the battery cells. The voltage detecting apparatus comprises a sample/hold amplifier sampling/holding an anode voltage of each of the battery cells to generate a first output voltage and a second output voltage, a voltage difference converting unit generating a battery cell voltage according to voltage differences between an input of a positive input terminal and an input of a negative input terminal, and a switching unit controlling connection between the first and the second output voltage and the positive and the negative input terminal such that a polarity of the voltage difference between the input of the positive input terminal and the input of the negative input terminal is uniform. The sample/hold amplifier electrically insulates the battery cells and the switching unit. |
