A system and a method to transmit a medical image are disclosed. The present invention comprises: a first medical terminal separating each of at least one medical image file included in the medical image into a header and a body if the medical image is stored and a medical image transmission request is received, merging the separated to at least one header with the separated to at least one body to generate header data and body data, inserting a key code into each of the header data and the body data to generate the header data for transmission and the body data for transmission and to transmit them; a second medical terminal transmitting the medical image transmission request to receive it, requesting and receiving the key code if the header data for transmission and the body data for transmission are received, and restoring the medical image using the received key code; and a relay server analyzing a right of the second medical terminal for the medical image transmission request and performing authentication if the medical image transmission request is received from the second medical terminal, transfers the medical image transmission request to the first medical terminal if the second medical terminal is authenticated, and transmits the key code if a request for the key code is received from at least one between the first medical terminal and the second medical terminal. |
