A subject is preventing stripes and stains of an image displayed on a display device. A displaying term TI_k+1 and TI_k+2 writing display data P on each pixel and a resting period TR_k+1 stopping the display data P from being written on each pixel are alternately repeated, and Term1 which is a former term of the resting term TR_k+1 has all signal line from SGL1 to SGLm to have a predetermined potential. Term2 which is a latter term of the resting term TR_k+1 provides display data P1 to Pm written on each pixel of the column direction selected in TI_k+1, which is a display term just before the resting term TR_k+1, to the signal line SGL1 to SGLm corresponding to each pixel. |
