a display unit; a power-state detector configured to detect a power state of the TV apparatus; and a controller configured to automatically change an operation mode of the TV apparatus from a TV broadcast mode to a movable memory reproduction mode in response to a detection of a movable memory connected to the TV apparatus, the detected power state of the TV apparatus, and a receiving of a user input signal corresponding to a reproduction key.
