A method of sintering a composition comprising two powdered components, wherein the water activity of the first powdered component is greater than the water activity of the second powdered component, and the glass transition temperature of the first powdered component is less than the glass transition temperature of the second powdered component, the method comprising: heat treating a mixture of the two powdered components at a temperature which is above the glass transition temperature of the first powdered component and less than 20° C. above the glass transition temperature of the second powdered component; and maintaining the total water content of the mixture constant during the heat treatment. |
