摘要 A liquid crystal display device includes a substrate, a gate line, first and second data lines, a first power line, first, second, third and fourth switching elements, and first, second, third and fourth pixel electrodes. The first switching element is connected to the gate line and the first data line. The second switching element is connected to the gate line and the first power line. The third switching element is connected to the gate line and the second data line. The fourth switching element is connected to the gate line and the first power line. The first to fourth pixel electrodes are connected to the first to fourth switching elements, respectively. Thus, a light leakage may be prevented and an aperture ratio of a display substrate may be enhanced.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device, comprising: a substrate; a gate line extending along a first direction and disposed on the substrate; a first power line extending along a second direction crossing the first direction; a second power line extending along the second direction and adjacent to the first power line; a first data line, a second data line, a third data line, and a fourth data line extending along the second direction, respectively; a first pixel unit comprising a first sub-pixel unit and a second sub-pixel unit sequentially disposed along the first direction, wherein the first sub-pixel unit comprises a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode electrically connected to the first data line and the first power line, respectively, and wherein the second sub-pixel unit comprises a third pixel electrode and a fourth pixel electrode electrically connected to the second data line and the first power line, respectively; and a second pixel unit adjacent to the first pixel unit and comprising a third sub-pixel unit and a fourth sub-pixel unit sequentially disposed along the first direction, wherein the third sub-pixel unit comprises a fifth pixel electrode and a sixth pixel electrode electrically connected to the third data line and the second power line, respectively, and wherein the fourth sub-pixel unit comprises a seventh pixel electrode and an eighth pixel electrode electrically connected to the fourth data line and the second power line, respectively, wherein a polarity of a voltage applied to the first power line is different from a polarity of a voltage applied to the second power line.
