PURPOSE: A data determining apparatus and a method thereof for compensating backlight supplying data are provided to reduce exposure failure by difference of the reflection of the face for performing backlight compensation. CONSTITUTION: A data decision apparatus for compensating backlight includes a digital signal processor(35). In case the digital signal processor searches a character after recognizing the face of live view image, the exposure of the searched multiple faces is measured and is supplied as reference data for performing backlight by exposure bracketing photograph. |
