<p>The present invention relates to a system for charging portable devices using solar energy in a public place, which is installed in the public place, stores electric power generated from solar energy in a battery, converts the electric power into a preset voltage to be used for charging smart devices through a standard USB port. The system for charging the portable devices using solar energy comprises a roof (1), a pillar part (2) supporting the roof, a solar cell unit (3) installed on the top of the roof (1) to produce electricity through solar light, a battery unit (4) storing the electricity produced in the solar cell unit (3), a power conversion unit (5) converting a voltage of the battery unit (4) to a preset voltage, a charging terminal unit (6) exposed on the exterior of the pillar part (2) and including a plurality of USB terminals to output the power converted in the power conversion unit (5), and a control unit (7) measuring the voltage of the battery unit (4) and controlling output of the power of the charging terminal unit (6).</p> |
