The present invention suggests a method to provide a voice conversation service appropriate for driving situations, and a mobile terminal providing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to provide a voice conversation service comprises the steps of: receiving detection information from a sensor unit; determining whether to set an operation mode of the voice conversation service as a driving mode using the detection information; and providing an auditory feedback in reference to the driving mode setting information stored in advance when the operation mode of the voice conversation service is set as the driving mode.
