The module comprises: a substrate; an interlayer insulating layer disposed on the substrate; an optical waveguide disposed on the interlayer insulating layer; an optical element disposed on the optical waveguide; and a prism disposed between the optical waveguide and the optical element, and having a refractive index which is greater than the refractive index of the optical waveguide.
