The present invention relates to a wireless communication system for managing WLAN connectivity and a terminal thereof and, more particularly, to a method and apparatus of a terminal connected to WLAN to report information to a base station by measuring the information about the connection state. For this, the method of the terminal to transmit information about the connection state includes the steps of: receiving WLAN connection request information including information for wireless local area network (WLAN) connection from a base station through upper layer signaling; trying the WLAN connection based on the WLAN connection request information; and transmitting the WLAN connection state information including the information related to the state of connection between the WLAN and the terminal to the base station. |
