A cooling and heating system is provided to increase the cooling/heating efficiency of the system by increasing the temperature and the density of refrigerant which is introduced into a compressor by heating a heat exchange part, removing frost from the heat exchange part. A cooling and heating system includes a compressor(110), indoor/outdoor heat exchangers(130), an expansion unit, and a heating unit(160) alternatively introducing refrigerant discharged from the indoor heat exchanger for supplying the refrigerant to the compressor after heating in a heating mode. A first connection pipe(171) connects a refrigerant pipe between the indoor heat exchanger and the expansion unit to the heating unit. A second connection pipe(175) connects a refrigerant pipe at a suction part of the compressor to the heating unit. |
