Provided is a method for fabricating porous powder, comprising the steps of forming a sol solution by adding a chelating agent to a solution in which silicon alkoxide and metallic salts are melted in a solvent; forming porous powder doped with metal oxide by gelling and drying the sol solution; and heating the porous silica powder doped with metal oxide.
