The present invention relates to an air conditioning device for a vehicle. The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently sterilize and deodorize odor, bacterium, mold, etc. without harmful effects to human bodies by enabling an ion generator to increase the generation of anions and cations without harmful effects to human bodies. To achieve the purpose, the air conditioning device of the present invention includes an evaporator installed inside an inner passage of an air conditioning case; the ion generator emitting anions and cations to the evaporator; and mode doors installed on air outlets inside an inner space of a vehicle, respectively to control the direction and the volume of air discharged to the inner space of the vehicle. Additionally, the present invention includes a control unit increasing an output voltage of the ion generator more than when the air conditioning device is off, to increase the emission of the anions and cations when the air conditioning device is off and closing all of the air outlets and then stopping the air discharge by controlling the mode doors to prevent anions and cations emitted from the ion generator and ozone from being sent to the inside of the inner space of the vehicle.
