The invention relates to cooperage, namely to a container for storing and aging wines and distillates.The container, according to the invention, is assembled from wooden staves semi-elliptically curved along and tightened between them with the help of hoops, with the ends around two bottoms, at the same time at least one part of staves are made with the ends narrowed on only one side of the stave. The ends of the staves are narrowed by the curvature of a segment of a circle with the radius determined depending on the diameters of the recipient in the middle and at the bottom thereof, on the length and width of the staves in their middle. |
