The present invention relates to a sterilizer (1) having an air-purifying function, wherein the sterilizer (1) is equipped with a purifying chamber (2), a sterilizing chamber (2′), and a shelf having dividing rods (20) (20′) and sterilizes cups and toothbrushes by means of an ultraviolet ray lamp (2B). The sterilizer (1) for purifying indoor air has an insertion hole (7) that is connected with a discharging hole (3) at the right of the purifying chamber (2) at the top end thereof and has an air-suctioning fan (9) mounted thereon so as to firstly perform sterilization during a discharging process. An outlet (4) is formed at the left of the purifying chamber. The outlet (4) is connected with an insertion hole (8). A filtering copper plate (6) having a filtering net fabric (6a) inserted therein and a filtering fabric (8′) in which a charcoal powder (1a) and an air freshener (1b) are permeated are inserted in the left and right insertion holes (7) (8), so that the discharged air is secondly purified while being discharged through the outlet (4). Downward opening windows (5) (5′) are penetrated through the bottom surface of the purifying chamber (2). A ventilation fan (10) and an ultraviolet ray lamp (2B) are installed in the opening windows (5) (5′). The air that is firstly filtered in the discharging hole is sterilized by means of the ultraviolet ray lamp in the purifying chamber and is then secondly filtered while being discharged through the outlet (4) so as to be discharged indoors as pure air. By means of the operation of ventilation fan (10), the air in the purifying chamber is downwardly ventilated into the sterilizing chamber (2′) through the opening windows, so that the shelves (15) (16) (17) of the sterilizing chamber and the cups and toothbrushes of the toothbrush holding shelf (11) are thirdly sterilized. |
