Disclosed is a method for determining the degree of relevancy of one or more geographical locations to a digital content object. The method includes, in a processing system identifying, for a digital content object, a plurality of geographical indicators that indicate a plurality of geographical locations. The method also includes obtaining, from a data store, a plurality of geographical hierarchies for the plurality of geographical locations. The method further includes calculating, for each geographical location and using a relevancy rule, a relevancy score indicative of the degree of relevancy of the respective geographical location to the digital content object. Each relevancy score is calculated based at least partially upon a degree of commonality between the respective geographical hierarchy with a remainder of the geographical hierarchies. A processing system and a computer program arranged to perform the method are also disclosed. |
