The present disclosure relates to methods for producing particles of meloxicam using dry milling processes, wherein the average particle size, as determined on a particle number basis, or the median particle size, as determined on a particle volume basis, is equal to or less than 2000 nm. Also disclosed are compositions comprising meloxicam, medicaments produced using meloxicam in particulate form and/or compositions, and to methods of treatment of an animal, including man, using a therapeutically effective amount of meloxicam administered by way of said medicaments. |
