A method for purification of flue gases, wherein the flue gases move horizontally in a reactor, constituting a horizontally positioned chamber, whose upper surface constitutes a needle cathode, and the lower surface – thickened water flow, constituting an anode, which moves in an opposite direction to the movement of the gases, and during this time as a result of the applied high voltage to the cathode, electrons are emitted from the needles, which moving perpendicularly to the gas and water flows, ionize the molecules of the gases and water vapors in them, whereby recovery and oxidation processes occur, and the generated oxide radicals and recovered elements fall in a the flowing water anode, which takes them out of the reactor. |
