A mobile terminal and a video call controlling method of the mobile terminal are provided to set whether to open a video call with a particular party, while a video call is carried out with other parties. A video call is performed with other parties(S10). When the video call is performed, it is set whether to open participation of a particular party in the video call. When the participation in the video call is set, it is set whether to open video call participation of a first party to a second party(S30). When the video call is carried out with the other parties, a control signal is generated to set whether to open the participation of the particular party in the video call. The control signal is generated by a controller. |
