The system has a control unit (2) comprising a power supply unit (3) with an electric energy accumulator, and a self-powered near field radio communication module including a management unit (7-1) and a non-volatile permanent auxiliary storage unit (7-2). The module is powered by a high frequency electromagnetic field to receive and record operation parameters in the storage unit. A communication bus (9) is provided between the control unit and the module. The bus and the control and management units are adapted to allow the loading of the parameters from the storage unit by the control unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing an electronic device.
