TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING USING THE SAME

Disclosed are a tracking system and a method to track using the same capable of minimizing restriction of an operation room by realizing compacted equipment as well as reduced manufacturing costs by calculating three-dimensional coordinates of each marker with only one image formation unit. The tracking system and the method to track using the same has an effect of a relatively reduced restriction of the operation room compared to the previous tracking system by having it realized to be small and lightweight, as well as reduce the costs in manufacturing the tracking system, because the tracking system and the method to track using the same are capable of forming a pair of marker images in each different location of the image formation per marker; and of calculating and confirming the information on the location and direction of the markers attached to an object by calculating the three-dimensional coordinates of each marker using triangulation with only one image formation unit.
