Disclosed is an air conditioner. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a compressor for compressing a refrigerant; a main condenser which is connected to the compressor by a pipe, and which condenses the compressed refrigerant; a sub-condenser which is connected to the main condenser by a pipe, and which condenses the condensed refrigerant for one more time; and an expansion valve which is connected to the main condenser by a pipe, and which expands the condensed refrigerant; an evaporator which is connected to the expansion valve by a pipe, and which makes the expanded refrigerant change heat; a hot gas pipe connected to the pipe connecting the compressor with the main condenser, and to the pipe connecting the sub-condenser with expansion valve, to provide the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to the pipe between the sub-condenser and the expansion valve; and a valve arranged on the hot gas pipe to open and close the flow path of the hot gas pipe. |
