PURPOSE: An impact absorbing apparatus for automobile seatback is provided to reduce injury in a neck of a passenger in a collision of vehicles. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing apparatus for automobile seatback comprises a seat cushion, a seat back, an actuating unit, and a fixing unit. The seat back is installed as rotatable in the seat cushion. The actuating unit(100) is combined with the seat back as rotated the external force is applied to the seat back. The fixing unit(200) absorbs the impact by the connection with the actuating unit. The fixing unit is fixed separately from the actuating unit. |
