An apparatus and a method for producing a stereoscopic file having a file format for storing the stereoscopic contents are provided to generate stereoscopic file having this file format based on the ISO(International Standard Organization) base media file format. A first camera(210) outputs a first video data by photographing an object. A second camera(220) outputs a second video data by photographing an object. The first and second video data are pre-processed to a video signal processing unit(230). The storage stores the first and pre-processed second video data. An encoder(240) encodes the first and second video data. By using the first and encoded second video data, the file generator(250) produces the stereoscopic file. |
