The present invention relates to an ophthalmic surgical apparatus, a control method thereof, and a surgical method using the same. Provided are an ophthalmic surgical apparatus, a surgical method using the same, and a control method thereof, and the ophthalmic surgical apparatus comprises a light source for generating a laser; a light conversion unit converting the parameter of the laser generated from the light source; a light transfer unit forming a transfer path for the laser generated from the light source; a light radiation unit formed on the end portion of the light transfer unit and applying light to the outside; and a control unit for controlling the light conversion unit and the light transfer unit according to a first operation mode for cutting the anterior chamber of a crystalline lens, a second operation mode for cutting the nucleus portion of the crystalline lens, and a third operation mode for cutting a cornea. The control unit controls to allow at least one among the output, the pulse waveform and the radiation pattern of the laser applied through the light radiation unit to have different characteristics according to each operation mode.
