The method involves engraving a series of reference marks (12) i.e. indents, on a surface of a turbine blade (10) according to a predetermined configuration. The configuration of the series of reference marks is recorded by measurement of a profilometry of an engraved surface of the turbine blade. The reference marks are formed in a discrete series of relief layers. The reference marks are regularly spaced from or to each other. The indents are directly perpendicular to direction of centrifugal force (14). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for measuring movement of a part of a turbine blade (2) a turbomachine.
