PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of proposing a spot which is highly possibly beneficial for respective users as a recommended spot preferentially.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a navigation system comprising a destination recommendation function. The navigation system comprises: a movement history database 43 for storing data on movement history associated with an action pattern; a user database 44 for storing present and past action patterns of a plurality of users; a target action pattern determination unit 26a; a potential action pattern determination unit 26b; a reference spot setting unit 27; a data extraction unit 28 for extracting movement history data T which includes a guidance reference spot; and a recommended spot presentation unit 29 for presenting a first recommended spot and a second recommended spot determined on the basis of the movement history data T respectively associated with the target action pattern and the potential action pattern.
