A method for reducing the volume of a tumor in a subject, comprising administering to the subject a compound of the formula: wherein R is a thiazolyl unit having the formula: R2 and R4 are each chosen from: i) substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 linear, C3-C6 branched, or C3-C6 cyclic alkyl; iii) substituted or unsubstituted phenyl; or iv) substituted or unsubstituted thiophenyl; R1 is C1-C6 linear, C3-C6 branched or C3-C6 cyclic alkoxy; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
